After a log peroid of absence due to work and a computer changeover there has been an update to the site. Content wise very little has changed, some of my active D&D characters have been updated, as have the descriptions of several categories and items, but there have been no new items added. What has changed is that the site has been ported completely to Joomla from mambo, there are many reasons for this, mostly because i like several of the things on the joomla roadmap and there are a lot of good plugins being developed for it whilst i feel that mambo's base is seeming quite stale. Also the navigation system has been overhauled so that the content is now properly broken down into catgories and section and each content item now has a description. Primary goal now is to port the cybergeneration material which is the last part of the old site to not be changed. After that I hope to start some new content developement.

We now have Draco, Tier and Reaper online in the character archives. Brottor, my dwarven cleric for the Wilmslow Roleplaying Club weekly meeting has now been added, and Malfurian Balderk has had his character sheet done by the parser, rather than copy and pasting out of excel which means it will actually load in internet explorer now.
Next task: Some of the Cybergeneration material I had and Zoltans character sheet.

Hmmm work is certainly eating up more of my time than the degree did. Guess I should expect that really. Anyway, I have a new housemate: Alex. She's great, but wants New Zeeland when I conquer the world. She has also sworn to kill me after I accidently spoilt the end of the latest Harry Potter. It's all good - if your not prepared to duck sword swings when you wake up or check your ceral for poison every morning then you really arn't cut out for this whole "modern living" thing. In webpage news: this is a minor update. Deathseeker got a nature and Rurik and Varden have been updated now I have gotten my parser to work. The email address also got fixed so people can actually drop me a line via the contact us link.
